A Guide for more Sustainable Everyday Life Choices.
A set of 25 cards divided into the five Daoist elements fire, water, earth, metal, and wood should inform about and encourage sustainable behavior. All of the cards have an illustration in the front that points to the problem at hand concerning each element and on the back there are useful tips on how to reduce your carbon footprint. These tips range from trying to save materials to using what nature provides. The cards can be used as daily reminders or even as a set of playing cards. As storage for them, a box made of waste wood was designed that has different compartments to mark which of the cards have already been used. When there are no cards left, the box can be watered and from its earthy floor plants and herbs will grow.
